npm - NPMJS & Github for scoped repositories

Question

I have a company that has scoped repositories on github and on npmjs. We use npmjs for public repositories and github for internal tools. However, I only know of how to update npmrc to reflect the scope -> repo I don't know if its possible to update npmrc to use specific repositories?

@organiztion/project1 -> npmjs
@organiztion/project2 -> github

Thoughts?
